Mr Chris Lockwood is CEO of MIC with ten years’ experience leading initiatives to support workplace-based mental health and suicide prevention programs. His background prior to MATES was in the Australian construction industry, driving mental health and suicide prevention initiatives and managing strategic partnerships with key industry leaders and stakeholders for the industry-owned pension fund and life insurer. Currently, Chris is overseeing two major research projects evaluating the effectiveness and impacts of key elements of the MATES program and how it translates to new industry contexts.
